The Emsworth Show is a community event that has been enjoyed by local people for many generations. The show takes place this year on Bank Holiday Monday, the 26th August at the New Life Church in Emsworth. The Emsworth Horticultural Society are celebrating their Centenary year at the show and it promises to be the best yet!

One of the highlights of the Emsworth show is the Horticultural Show Marquee, with a wonderful display of vegetables, flowers, flower arranging, crafts, photographs and cookery. There are over a hundred classes open to everyone including novices. All exhibitors are welcome, so why not enter and try your luck to win a rosette or perhaps a cup!

This is a new publication by the Emsworth Tree Warden Group which is intended to introduce residents and visitors to some of the fine trees that help to make Emsworth such a special place.

The trail includes many types of tree which together with some fine hedges make these walks interesting during the four seasons. The maps show two routes starting in the town, but these can be joined at any point.

Copies of the Emsworth Town Centre Tree Trail are available from Bookends of Emsworth at £3.
