Watts has written a basic textbook on Taoism in his inimitabe style, illustrated with many examples from the literature and with Chinese characters.
Watts did not finish the book owing to his sudden death late in 1973, but this has been completed by Al Chung-liang Huang who co-directed Watts' final lectures and discussions out of which the book came.
